Professional Ethics and Integrity in Testing and Certification
(19 June 2019)
The Council, Hong Kong Accreditation Service and Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre will co-organise Seminar on Professional Ethics and Integrity in Testing and Certification. (Programme)
Integrity and credibility are foundation of good business. They also form part of the core value of Hong Kong’s testing and certification (T&C) sector and are an important aspect of our competitive edge. To sustain the sector’s good reputation, it is imperative for the T&C organisations to maintain a high standard of integrity and adopt good practices in their business and operations.
The seminar invited representatives from the ICAC and the Customs and Excise Department to offer useful advice on anti-corruption regulations and fair trading practice, and analyse the common risks and ethical issues that may be encountered by T&C practitioners. A T&C organisation will also share its view on the importance of practising anti-bribery measures in the T&C trade. T&C practitioners should not miss the opportunity to exchange views on integrity management with speakers.
