Research and Development of Chinese Medicines 2018

The Council co-organised the Seminar on Research and Development of Chinese Medicines 2018 with the Committee on Research and Development of Chinese Medicines. (Programme)

This is the seventh Chinese medicines seminar organised by the Committee in conjunction with the Council, the Department of Health and the Hospital Authority. The Seminar aimed to promote research and development of Chinese medicines, facilitate communication and explore opportunities for collaboration among stakeholders in the field, as well as share knowledge on technology trends, research outcomes and clinical experiences of Chinese and integrative medicines.

This year's seminar included plenary lectures and parallel sessions covering various important topics, such as frontiers in Chinese medicine research and technologies, as well as research of Chinese medicine in managing elderly diseases and osteoporosis.
