Latest Development of Construction Materials Testing, Inspection and Certification

The Council and the Hong Kong Accreditation Service co-organised the Seminar on Latest Development in Construction Materials Testing, Inspection and Certification. (Flyer)

In recent years, infrastructure and construction projects in Hong Kong are being carried out in full swing. Quality of these projects is being upheld with essential support from testing and certification services. New testing and inspection technologies are being explored to make continuous improvement in the quality and safety of buildings. In addition, product certification schemes for a wide range of construction materials have been developed to help safeguard the quality of construction materials.

In this seminar, representatives from Government department, research and development institute and tertiary institutions shared with us the latest development in the areas of construction materials testing, inspection and certification.
