Nowadays, quality management and quality assurance has been widely applied in public and private organisatons to enhance the quality of service, productivity and efficency. Standardised quality management techniques are becoming one of the core elements in every business and organisation.
First published in 1987, ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard is one of the most widely used ISO standards around the world and in Hong Kong. It sets out the standard requirement for quality management system that facilitates businesses and organisations in various scale in improving their productivity and efficiency, resulting in cost reduction. ISO 9001 quality management system certification also helps business and organisations in enhancing customer satisfaction and establishing their branding.
The seminar aimed to introduce to participants the latest development of international standard of quality management, and experience sharing on quality management. Participants took this opportunity to know more about how quality management can enhance the quality of service, productivity and efficiency.
