Climate change is doubtlessly an enormous challenge faced by mankind of our time. To tackle climate change, many places around the world are implementing various initiatives to limit Greenhouse Gas (GHG) concentrations in the atmosphere. These initiatives rely on the quantification, monitoring, reporting, validation and verification of GHG emissions and/or removals.

GHG validation and verification can enhance the credibility and transparency of your GHG quantification, monitoring and reporting. Indeed, GHG validation and verification has been attracting the attention of the community.

The seminar was an opportunity for participants to have a better understanding of GHG validation and verification. Representatives from the Construction Industry Council and the Hong Kong Accreditation Service, as well as users of relevant services discussed the topic from different perspectives.
